Ostomy


“My Ostomy” is an e-learning course developed for the American College of Surgeons in collaboration with Wireframe Studio and is aimed at people who are about to undergo surgery to install a colostomy or urostomy bag, or people who already have one. Developed for a CD-ROM platform, the application educates these people about ostomies, different kinds of ostomies, correct use of the ostomy bag, emptying and changing of the ostomy bag, troubleshooting scenarios, and what to do in an emergency that involves the ostomy.

To consolidate the learning experience of this educational game, the user is then quizzed on all the information covered by the application.
